RarmaRadio separate from Windows 7 64-bit volume control? Options

I've noticed something odd after updating to the latest version of RR. It seems like RarmaRadio is somehow separate from the general windows volume control.

For example, let's say I lower the volume in my Windows 7 system tray to 0. If my RarmaRadio has volume at 100% I'm still hearing music through my speakers.

Let's say I connect headphones to my computer. My computer will always mute the speakers and then I'll be hearing music through the headphones exclusively. However, with RR the radio is coming out through the speakers and not through the headphones. What's interesting is that if I use VLC and play a song, I'll have music from RR going through the speakers exclusively and then the song from VLC in my headphones exclusively.

No I'm afraid not.
I couldn't reproduce it on a Windows 7 64 machine I tested it on.
You may have to wait for the 64-bit edition and see if that makes a difference.

Update: I got fed up with this issue again so I did some searching. I found someone with a similar issue (in Windows 7 64-bit) and found they fixed it by updating their sound drivers.

So I'm using realtek (motherboard sound) so I went to their site and downloaded the latest high-definition drivers:

http://www.realtek.com/downloads/

Installed R2.48 for 7 64-bit, did a reboot and everything seems to work well(headphones, the volume going to 0)!

Yeah it always seems to be the sound driver.

Anyway thanks for the information and good to know it worked out in the end:).
